Sabri Benzaid is a Program and Research Manager at the Harvard Center for International Development (CID), where he supports the development and implementation of CID’s global programming, with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East. He works across research and program management, strategic partnerships, and policy engagement, helping develop new initiatives and strengthen collaboration with partners across academia, government, philanthropy, and practice.
Sabri previously worked with the United Nations World Food Programme in South Sudan, Haiti, and Morocco, across humanitarian response, social protection, and government engagement. More recently, he contributed to applied research with the World Bank, Imago Global Grassroots, and Harvard CID on behavioral development, systems change, and locally led development.
Sabri holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School and a BSc in International Management from the University of Warwick. His interests center on reimagining how interantional development is financed, designed, and delivered, strengthening local institutions and capacities while strengthening the connection between research, policy, and practice.
