I developed a successful and globally acclaimed chain of large natural food supermarkets, Mrs. Gooch's, in Southern California. Mrs. Gooch's was acquired by Whole Foods Markets, which was recently purchased by Amazon. I was involved in starting a chain of Natural Foods Markets in London, called Fresh and Wild. This successful chain of markets was acquired by Whole Foods Markets, which was recently purchased by Amazon. I have served on the boards of: Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at USC's Marshall School of Business, Bastyr University, Cornell University's School of Nutrition, Southern California chapter of the International Women's Forum, Growing Great, which is an organization that educates students how to grow and prepare a variety of healthy foods. Additionally, I am currently serving on the Silver Strand Homeowners' Executive Board in Marina del Rey, California. I was chosen as one of the Top 40 Women Entrepreneurs of the World in 2000.My current business, Sandy Gooch Enterprises, is involved in property management and development in three states: Colorado, Arizona and California.
