Sára Khayouti is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Zurich. Her research lies at the intersection of development, behavioral, and experimental economics, with a focus on behavioral decision-making. Her current research uses field experiments with microentrepreneurs in Tanzania to study how improving memory retrieval and planning affects financial decision making and well-being. She also studies reciprocity and social preferences using theory and experimental methods. Prior to her PhD, she was a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and completed an MSc in Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
