Sarah Zoen is a human rights and sustainability practitioner with experience across civil society, management consulting, and the private sector. She previously worked at Oxfam America, where she led work on community-based human rights due diligence and gender equality in the cocoa sector, and later advised companies across industries on human rights and social impact. She currently supports the International Council on Mining and Metals' work on social performance, human rights, and Indigenous Peoples’ rights.
As a joint fellow with the Carr-Ryan Center for Human Rights Policy and the Center for International Development at Harvard Kennedy School, her work examines how companies can more effectively embed human rights due diligence into decision-making and practice. She also serves as Chair of the Watertown, MA Human Rights Commission.
