Tai Miller (MD/MPP ‘25) will spend the summer at the University of California, San Francisco and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in San Francisco, California. Tai will be working with the plastic and reconstructive surgery teams. He will be gaining hands on experience by assisting the team in day-to-day tasks, including meeting patients in clinic, checking in on their progress, and assisting the team in the operating rooms. He is excited to participate in gender-affirming surgical cases, where he will advance his skills and knowledge providing surgical care to transgender and gender-diverse people. In addition, he will spend the summer researching gender-affirming surgery access barriers and outcomes.
