Tynnetta McIntosh is Managing Director and head of the Office of Women’s Affairs at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Tynnetta is a New York City-based executive with over 30 years of experience at the company. She currently leads the firm’s Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion Center of Excellence, focusing on women and their allies. Tynnetta also oversees the Women on the Move Business Resource Group (BRG), which includes nearly 83,000 employees worldwide, and co-leads the Working Families Network BRG.
Previously, Tynnetta served as Head of Corporate Employee Communications, where she managed executive communications for the Corporate Operating Committee and oversaw key employee engagement platforms such as the intranet, global digital signage network, and employee digital newspaper. She also directed communications for the firm’s 21 Corporate Centers across the globe.
Since relocating to New York in 2002, Tynnetta has held various roles in Retail Operations, Treasury and Securities Services, and the Investment Bank. She also spent time in Hong Kong, leading internal communications for the firm’s Asia Pacific franchise. Tynnetta began her career in 1994 with Chase in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she held senior positions in consumer product management, marketing, and communications.
Tynnetta is actively involved in community service and nonprofit leadership. She was recently elected to the board of the United Way of New York City and serves as Vice Chair of the Sphinx Organization, a Detroit-based nonprofit dedicated to social equity and diversity in the arts. She is also a board member of The Forum, an arts and culture nonprofit in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Her professional and community contributions have earned her recognition on the inaugural Diversity Woman Media Elite 100 list, the President’s Award for Leadership and Excellence from the National Association of Black Accountants, the National Black Achiever in Industry Award from the Harlem YMCA, and induction into the YWCA of New York Academy of Women Leaders.
Tynnetta holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Fine Arts from Georgetown University and is an alumna of Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Power program.
She resides in the Hudson Valley with her partner, Mat, and their Wheaten Terrier, Lady Asta.
