Dependent Costs
Federal regulations prohibit Harvard Kennedy School from including dependents’ day-to-day costs in a domestic student’s expense budget.
If you plan on bringing your partner, spouse, and/or children to HKS, you will need to demonstrate sufficient savings to cover your dependents’ costs during the academic year.
Calculating Your Student Budget
At Harvard Kennedy School, we apply a “modest but livable” standard when determining the student budget or cost of attendance.
