What motivated you to become a Graduate Student Ambassador?
I became a Graduate Student Ambassador because I’m excited to help others navigate the admissions process. From personal experience, I know that it can sometimes be overwhelming, particularly for people not familiar with the university system in the United States. I would like to offer support to students who may think that an HKS application is not for them but are capable of applying.
What are you most looking forward to as an inaugural student ambassador?
Becoming a student ambassador is a unique opportunity to meet and support prospective students. I am happy to share my personal experiences and connect prospective students with others who share their interests. Together, with my fellow ambassadors, we are looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully seeing you in class next year.
What advice would you give students interested in HKS?
If you’re considering HKS, I highly recommend using all the resources available to to you. Connect with current students or alumni who share a similar background to gain insights into how they’ve benefited from the program and to receive personalized advice. Additionally, many talks and podcasts from HKS professors are accessible online giving you a preview of the topics covered in the program. Don’t hesitate to reach out us and ask questions. Engaging with these resources will help you understand how HKS can support you in achieving your goals.
