June 2026

Dear Alumni,

As my second term as chair ends, I am reminded that the strength of this community comes from you. This year, our Board set out to answer a simple question: How do we build a stronger community in an increasingly fragmented, fast-moving world? Our answer was to double down on real connection, expanding our reach, meeting alumni where they are, and ensuring your voices shaped the work we did together.

We engaged with alumni from 95 countries and regions across six decades of graduation. More than 2,000 of you attended events. 724 participated in mentorship or volunteer roles. We held over 23 global listening sessions, and 236 alumni provided direct input on the school’s future.

What I will remember most are the conversations with alumni across generations and geographies who continue to invest their time, ideas, and energy in one another and in the School’s future.

We learned together, gathered across continents, reviewed a record 300-plus applications to join the Board, and deepened our partnership with the School. What made it all meaningful to me was the willingness of alumni around the world to contribute their time, expertise, and perspective.

What connects us, I believe, is a shared commitment to using our work, in whatever form it takes, to make a difference in the lives of others. That has never been more evident to me than this year.

To the Board, our global leaders, Reunion volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time and energy: thank you.

As I step back from this role, I have full confidence in what comes next. Karen Bonadio and incoming Board Chair Duriya Farooqui MPA/ID 2001 bring the dedication, vision, and deep care for this community that this moment calls for.

With gratitude,
