Karen Bonadio is joining Harvard Kennedy School as the new director of alumni relations. Her first day is February 11.
Bonadio comes to HKS from Brandeis University, where she most recently served as associate director for alumni and external relations at the Brandeis International Business School. In this role, she was responsible for managing the School’s global alumni network, including developing the communication and outreach strategy, tracking and measuring alumni engagement, recruiting and managing alumni volunteers, and creating highly attended local, domestic, and international events.
"I am thrilled to work with, and learn from, the diverse HKS alumni community,” Bonadio said. “I look forward to meeting an amazing group of alumni who are transforming public leadership in this country and around the world.”
Bonadio joins HKS alumni relations colleagues Kristen Messervy, associate director, and Rachel Crinklaw, coordinator. She succeeds Amy Davies MC/MPA 2010, who has returned to work at HKS’s Degree Programs and Student Affairs as assistant dean for student services and programs.
