A message from Dean Douglas Elmendorf
To Members of the Harvard Kennedy School Community,
Harvard will be closing for winter break at the end of the day on Thursday, December 22, and reopening on the morning of Tuesday, January 3. I hope you can use the break to rest, relax, and spend time with your families and friends. When you socialize and travel, please take care to protect your health and the health of those around you so we can all be healthy when we return in January.
I am grateful for everyone’s enthusiastic efforts to make the fall semester such a successful time of teaching, learning, and other work. You make Harvard Kennedy School a special place. As we begin the new year, let us keep embracing our opportunity to make a positive difference in public policy and leadership around the world.
Wishing you a joyful break and a wonderful 2023,
Doug
