Asad Jamal is the Founder and Chairman of ePlanet Capital, a pioneering global venture capital firm focused on transformative technologies. He was previously Co-Chairman of Draper Fisher Jurvetson ePlanet Ventures, a groundbreaking partnership that helped globalize Silicon Valley venture capital. Under his leadership, ePlanet has invested in over 100 companies across AI, space technology, semiconductors, fintech, and quantum computing, with portfolio highlights including SpaceX, Anthropic AI, xAI, Neuralink, Baidu, and Skype.

Asad has been recognized among the Top 20 venture capitalists worldwide by the Forbes Midas List (2007–2009), and was named a “Pioneer of Global Venture Capital” by Forbes in 2007. The aggregate shareholder value created by ePlanet’s successful investments exceeds $400 billion. He brings over four decades of experience in venture capital and investment banking, with a global footprint spanning the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

In addition to his investment leadership, Asad is deeply committed to global development and humanitarian causes. He is the founder of the Good Planet Foundation, which supports healthcare, education, and frontier science initiatives, including sponsoring the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) at Stanford University and Singularity University in Silicon Valley.

Asad holds a BSc (Honors) in Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics and is based in Silicon Valley.
