Applications to become a Student Ambassador with the Carr Center for the 2024–25 academic year are now open.
The Carr Center is in search of two Student Ambassadors for the 2024–25 academic year. Student Ambassadors work with our team to promote our upcoming events and activities to the Harvard Kennedy School's student body and serve as liaisons between the Center and HKS's human rights-focused student groups. In the past, Student Ambassadors have launched, organized, and moderated the Center's Human Rights in Film series, which screens human-rights-related films during the academic year at HKS and brings the film's directors, producers, and protagonists to the stage to speak with our audiences.
Interested candidates should be HKS students with a demonstrated interest in advancing human rights who are comfortable working under minimal supervision. This is a paid position. Our Student Ambassadors typically work 3-6 hours per week with the Center. Students in both their first or second years of their degree with HKS are encouraged to apply.
Applications to become a Student Ambassador are due Monday, September 16, 2024 at 5:00pm.
How to Apply
To apply, please send a resume and short cover letter to Erin Norris, Fellowships and Administrative Coordinator (enorris@hks.harvard.edu). In your cover letter, please note any student groups you are involved with at HKS.
