Digital discrimination remains prevalent in all corners of the earth. In Brazil, Uber has been denying their services in particular cities by categorizing them as "zones of risk". According to Sheila Jasanoff, "technological developments create new risks, & negative consequences of such risks are distributed unevenly, reinforcing existing inequalities."
