CID Student Research Publications Assistant (PhD Student)
The Center for International Development at Harvard University is hiring a part-time (10-14hr/week) Research Publications Assistant to support with tagging CID publications for our new Publications Database. CID’s Publications Database is a powerful new tool that brings together all international development research of CID’s faculty affiliates and offers faculty, practitioners, and students a one-stop shop for finding international development research at Harvard.
This position is a great opportunity for a student interested in academic research and international development and a passion for making academic knowledge accessible to be used by a broader audience.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing and implementing a tagging system for CID publications to effectively search and collate papers on the Publications Database.
- Evaluate academic publications and assign accurate and relevant tags according to on CID’s research topics, regions, and key terms.
CID is seeking a candidate with a strong familiarity with international development research, who is confident in accurately assigning publications to various topic areas and key terms. Previous experience with academic research or research assistance is a plus. We’re particularly interested in recruiting a PhD student with a focus in international development. The Publications Assistant will benefit from gaining a comprehensive breath of exposure across all of Harvard’s international development research. Availability for full 2023-24 academic year preferred.
