My research interests are in the intersection of public finance and development economics. Specifically, I am interested in domestic resource mobilization, social insurance schemes, public service delivery, and firm development. For example, in an early stage project, we study a property tax campaign in Ghana. In another early-stage project, we study quality upgrading in the market for drinking water in Ghana, and how the market for privately supplied water interacts with public water provision.
