Bansari Kamdar is the Communications Assistant at the Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard University. She also works as a freelance reporter, with three years of news experience and bylines in The Boston Globe, The Diplomat, Huffington Post, AP News, Conversation, CNN-News 18, and more. Prior to joining CID, Bansari was the Global Communications Specialist at the Global Development Policy (GDP) Center at Boston University and a Research Assistant at the Mauricio Gastón Institute for Latino Community Development and Public Policy.
She holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and was awarded the 2021 Arthur MacEwan Award for Excellence in Political Economy from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Kamdar also holds an M.A. in International Relations and International Communications from Boston University.
