Brian Meagher is a program assistant at the Harvard Center for International Development. Brian is a rising senior at Northeastern University, pursuing a major in international affairs with minors in economics and environmental studies. Brian is deeply passionate about climate change and its impacts on international development. His first co-op was at Enel X, a leading sustainable technology company, where he served as a post-sales operations intern. This role exposed him to innovative solutions beyond the fossil fuel industry.
Additionally, Brian has a love for travel and cultural immersion. In 2021, he traveled to Senegal to help build a school for the Pethie Makha community with the nonprofit organization buildOn, which aims to break the cycle of poverty through education. He is eager to connect this experience to his work at CID. During his time at Northeastern, Brian has studied abroad in Italy, Egypt, and Turkey, gaining a wealth of cultural experiences and knowledge.
