This pooled analysis uses individual-level data from national health surveys across 100 countries spanning low-, middle-, and high-income settings to assess global progress toward diabetes care targets in 2021. The study evaluates key indicators including diagnosis, treatment, and glycaemic control, highlighting substantial gaps in achieving global diabetes targets, particularly in low- and middle-income countries, and emphasizing the need for strengthened health systems and equitable access to care.
