This study examines the relationship between long-term dietary patterns and indicators of cognitive function using data from large prospective cohort studies. The authors evaluate how adherence to healthy dietary patterns is associated with cognitive performance and markers of cognitive aging. The findings suggest that diets emphasizing nutrient-dense foods and overall dietary quality are linked to more favorable cognitive outcomes, supporting the role of nutrition as a potentially modifiable factor in maintaining brain health and reducing the risk of age-related cognitive decline.
