The Global Observatory for Physical Activity (GoPA!) and Global Observatory for Physical Education (GoPE!) 2025 Country Cards

This article presents the 2025 Country Cards from the Global Observatory for Physical Activity (GoPA!) and the inaugural Global Observatory for Physical Education (GoPE!). These standardized profiles compile global data on physical activity surveillance, policy, and research, alongside new indicators on school-based physical education across 159 countries. The findings highlight progress in national policies and surveillance systems while identifying persistent gaps in implementation, monitoring, and research capacity, supporting evidence-based action to promote physical activity worldwide.
