By 2025, Interapt CEO Ankur Gopal had shown that the company’s apprenticeship model could successfully train people—often without college degrees—into software and IT roles, leveraging lower costs of living in places like Louisville, Kentucky. At the same time, advances in AI threatened some IT jobs. The case centers on how Gopal should adapt Interapt’s apprenticeship program and convince more clients of its value in an AI-transformed labor market.
