This article examines how firms organize cross-border production networks in environments characterized by geopolitical, trade, and macroeconomic uncertainty. The authors analyze how multinational firms adjust supply chains, sourcing strategies, and investment decisions in response to disruptions and rising uncertainty. The paper contributes to understanding the evolving structure of global production and the strategic tradeoffs firms face when balancing efficiency, resilience, and risk management.
