Cambridge, MA: The Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) is pleased to announce the appointment of five Hauser Leaders for the spring 2021 semester.
“As we continue to face public health crises paired with deep political and social challenges, principled public leadership and moral courage are key to our collective way forward. This semester’s Hauser Leaders practice these qualities in an array of fields: racial justice and civil rights activism, public policy, journalism, social enterprise, and education. Their experience will be vital to CPL’s leadership development practice as we train future leaders to redress economic and health challenges, racial inequity, and the persisting stress on democratic institutions in our own country and around the world,” said Amb. Wendy R. Sherman, director of the Center for Public Leadership and a professor of the practice at Harvard Kennedy School.
As members of the Center for Public Leadership’s community of scholarship and practice-based learning, Hauser Leaders contribute in vital ways to the academic life of Harvard, participating in faculty-led research and case development, classroom lectures, and faculty roundtables. Hauser Leaders bring tangible learning to students through workshops, coaching meetings, and public events.
Please visit our events page for a schedule of Hauser Leader public events; all spring 2021 programming will be conducted virtually.
