Cambridge, MA — The Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) is pleased to announce the appointment of five Hauser Leaders for the fall, 2021 semester. The Hauser Leaders Program, celebrating its seventh year, is known for its distinctive portfolio of distinguished leadership practitioners from across public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
“CPL takes enormous pride in its Hauser Leaders, who bring to our community role models in public leadership from a wide spectrum of platforms—philanthropy, education, journalism, social activism, the arts, and beyond. To make systemic and lasting change on our most pressing challenges, the world urgently needs leaders who can work collaboratively from and across diverse platforms,” said Hannah Riley Bowles, director of the Center for Public Leadership and Roy E. Larsen Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Management at Harvard Kennedy School.
Hauser Leaders contribute in vital ways to our community of scholarship and learning. During visits to CPL, they enrich leadership teaching, research, and practice through guest lectures in the classroom, student advising and mentoring, public speaking events, and more.
