2024, Paper: "Over the last three decades, rapid technological change has transformed the nature of work across industries. Technology has unlocked productivity by making it pos sible to work anytime, anywhere, but it has also blurred the lines between work and personal time. Increasingly, employees struggle to attain work-life balance as they juggle job priorities with personal responsibilities, such as childcare and eldercare. In the absence of support from employers or an adequate societal infrastructure, they resort to presenteeism and absenteeism, or they drop out of the workforce altogether."
