April 7, 2026, Opinion: "Today’s trends in energy prices and current U.S. policy on clean energy are conflicting, leaving corporate executives to decide for themselves how to address greenhouse gas emissions. Meanwhile, the proliferation of AI data centers is contributing to increased demand for electricity in the U.S., which leads the world in greenhouse gas emissions historically and is now the second-largest emitter behind China. Experts say business leaders should think long-term and strategically invest in technologies and processes that lower the cost of renewable sources of energy."
