  State Representative Ann-Margaret Ferrante, was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts where she attended Public School and practiced law for more than a decade with the firm of Kiely & Ferrante.  In addition to practicing law, Ferrante has been the State Representative from Cape Ann since 2009. She has served as member of the Ways and Means Committee; House Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture; and House Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies. Ferrante currently serves as the House Chair on the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Business and as House Chair of the Tech Hub Caucus. She also holds dual degrees in Economics and International Relations from Tufts University.
  Ramon Soto brings his leadership experience in municipal affairs to the Kennedy School of Government. Prior to enrolling at Harvard, Ramon served as Director of External Relations & Opportunity Gap Initiatives under the Chief of Education in the administration of Boston’s Mayor Marty Walsh. Ramon has served the public in a number roles for the past 13 years including, Special Initiatives Coordinator under Mayor Thomas M. Menino , Legislative Aide in the Massachusetts State House, and Liaison to the Federal Census in 2010. Ramon is also a former at-large candidate for the Boston City Council, and he currently serves on the board of directors for Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services and Sociedad Latina.
