Appointed officials from Boston and Cambridge are eligible for full- and partial-tuition scholarships to short-term Executive Education programs at the Kennedy School.
Each year, the Institute provides partial scholarships—in partnership with HKS’s Executive Education program and the Harvard Public Affairs and Communications Office—to one to two senior municipal employees to attend the three-week summer Senior Executives in State & Local Government Executive Education program at HKS. Recipients, who must live on campus for the duration of the program, generally are selected by their city’s senior leaders.
