Given the importance of AI in general and making sure the initial applications create the success that will foster more use of AI, “thinking slow,” deliberately, analytically, and research-based is the preferred path to assess risk. Our AI “slow thinking” risk assessment framework consists of four steps, starting with enumerating the risks and ending with incorporating the risk into the cost-benefit analysis (CBA).
