Positioned within Harvard Kennedy School, WAPPP is a research center that provides gender insights into work, politics, and conflict in order to develop rigorous thought leadership that advances women and gender equity globally.

Our world-class faculty—including Iris Bohnet, Hannah Riley Bowles, Dara Kay Cohen, Erica Chenoweth, and Zoe Marks—have deepened our understanding of the evolving landscape of gender disparities in policies, public leadership, and society and the interventions we can employ to reduce them. Our WAPPP research fellows enrich the intellectual life of the center by conducting research and engaging with faculty and students at Harvard Kennedy School and beyond.
