Considers a range of issues relating to national security, including bioterrorism, the market for nuclear weapons, the defense industry, the dependence on imported oil, intelligence, sanctions, etc.
Speakers will be both experts with experience in this field and economists doing resesarch on these issues. Seminar participants will be economics department faculty and selected graduate students.
