The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP), in partnership with the MPA/ID Program, awards scholarships each year to citizens of World Bank member borrower countries. These scholarships provide full tuition, a monthly living stipend, and round trip airfare. Scholarship recipients are required to return to their home country after they graduate. Scholarship recipients are ineligible for employment at the World Bank Group for a period of three years after graduation.

The application process for the MPA/ID - Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program for Fall 2016 is now closed.
In spring 2017, applications will be accepted from candidates who have applied for admission to the MPA/ID Program for Fall 2017 enrollment.
Gulzar Natarajan, MPA/ID 2014, is an Indian Administrative Service Officer serving as Director of the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Modi. Gulzar attended the MPA/ID Program thanks to the support of the Joint Japan/World Bank Scholarship program.
