This course is an experience-learning lab that will enable students to work on financial and operational challenges in the local community. Projects include work in the city of Boston, the MBTA, local infrastructure projects and budgetary/operational challenges. Additional course work includes training in advanced relevant analytical skills. Extensive field work.
Prerequisite: Basic analytical skills in budget/finance/accounting (demonstrated through course work such as MLD-411, 411M, API-401, or similar) or MBA program; and permission of the instructor. Applicants will be required to submit a short statement of interest.
Mandatory Field Session: Wednesday 4:15-6:00pm (L230)
Review Session: Friday 10:15-11:30am (1 Brattle 401)
