Are you a public policymaker frustrated with the limited impact of your government’s policies? Do you see many policy ideas starting out with promise but ending up incomplete or ineffectively implemented? Are you trying to improve implementation? If so, you are not alone.
In this extended five-month program, you will have the opportunity to work on your own implementation challenge that you are addressing in your city, region, or country with the help of Faculty Chair Matt Andrews and a global cohort of peers. The Implementing Public Policy (Online) curriculum blends self-study modules including video lectures, readings, and individual assignments with live faculty Q&A sessions and peer-learning group sessions.
To successfully complete this program, you will be required to complete all individual assignments and attend all peer-learning group sessions. These program elements will help you make progress on your implementation challenge. Participants are expected to commit a minimum of three hours/week to live sessions and approximately five hours/week to self-study time.

“I have learned a great deal not only about public policy implementation but also about teamwork, leadership, delegation, time management, burn out, and other concepts that I can apply for the rest of my career. I particularly enjoyed the fact that we explored both what the research tells us as well as very concrete, actionable methods.”
