One of my most useful classes was Mark Fagan's ‘Operations Management,’ which gave me the opportunity to consult with the Boston Election Department on how to improve early voting.

The Mid-Career Master in Public Administration (MC/MPA) curriculum consists of the Mid-Career MPA Summer Program and two semesters of full-time coursework in residence at Harvard Kennedy School. You must complete at least 32 credits to earn your degree. The curriculum for Mason Fellows also includes the Mason Fall Launch and other specialized co-curricular activities.
As an MC/MPA student, you have the flexibility to choose from a range of courses and design your own study plan. To ground your HKS experience and further develop your skill set, you will also take at least one course—or four credits—from a pre-approved list in each of these areas:
- Economics and Quantitative Analysis
- Management and Leadership
- Public Ethics and Political Institutions
