The Rise of the New American MajorityWeek 3 Democrats' Winning Strategy Democrats continue to vacillate between two general strategies appeal to women and people of color or try to win back disaffected white men. The midterms suggest that the latter has lost luster given Democrats lost massively among white male voters in every state, yet still won big on election night.
