How do you lead an alliance when its members face different threats, answer to different constituencies, and can't simply be told what to do? Former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Ivo Daalder will explore how leaders build consensus, use power effectively, and maintain trust among allies. We’ll also ask how decisions that seemed prudent at the time can shape the choices — and conflicts — that follow years later.
