The session will discuss the role of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in supporting the implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption around the world. It will explore how anti-corruption links up with most, if not, all core mandates and priorities of the United Nations, from development to peace and security, as well as climate action and youth empowerment. Further, it will question the role of an international civil servant in addressing a complex, ever-evolving and sensitive topic.
