Join the Australia and New Zealand Caucus Thursday 5 March 6-7pm at Wexner-102 for a hybrid conversation with Professor Robert Breunig, one of Australia’s leading public policy economists. Robert Breunig is President of the Economic Society of Australia and Director of the Tax and Transfer Policy Institute at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University.
This will be an interactive discussion, so bring your questions! We’ll kick the discussion off with a short conversation on topics including:
- AI and the Australian economy: What could it mean for jobs, labour market and welfare policy?
- Childcare reform: Where to from here?
- Immigration: What is the latest research on immigration trajectories and local labour market impacts in Australia?
Join us at the Wexner-102 Conference Room at HKS. Feel free to join the ANZ Caucus to continue the conversation over a drink at Grafton's pub afterwards. If you can't make it in-person, the talk will be hybrid, with Prof. Breunig joining virtually, and you can join us on Zoom: https://harvard.zoom.us/j/92108389405?pwd=zHuUjhCnSqILzdFBeJGKbLDiUQxG0w.1&from=addon
