Join us for a deep dive into the world of AI and its profound implications in the realm of policymaking. Explore the groundbreaking potential of AI models like OpenAI's ChatGPT in reshaping the future of legislative drafting, policy efficiency, and decision-making. From automating basic outlines to analyzing vast datasets in mere seconds, let us discover together how AI can revolutionize the entire policy-making process.

About the sessionThe rise of AI large language models (LLMs) has brought forth a new era of possibilities in various sectors. Policymaking, an age-old process full of inefficiencies, biases, and long lead times, stands at the precipice of transformation. AI models have the potential to make this change a reality.

In this session:1.    We will cover the popularity and power of LLMs.

  •  Understand the meteoric rise of LLMs, and their widespread commercial adoption,
  •   Delve into the staggering success stories of platforms like ChatGPT.

2.    We will explore how AI can revolutionize policymaking.

  • Generate nuanced policy language swiftly.
  •  Analyze vast datasets, identifying patterns and predicting outcomes.
  •  Assist in drafting basic outlines and standard text components.
  •  Combat the challenges of government understaffing and talent loss.

3.    We will assess the efficiency upgrade.

  • Discover how AI, compared to traditional methods, can supercharge the policymaking process by offering swift analysis and guidance.
  •  Realize the potential of specialized consultancy firms offering AI finetuning services.

4.    We will try to define the multifaceted AI benefit.

  • Speed – How AI can significantly accelerate the often time-consuming policy drafting process.
  • Precision – The role of AI in offering pointed guidance, ensuring proposed changes are viable within the current policy landscape.
  • Objectivity – The ability of AI to remove human biases, ensuring a fair and balanced approach.
