What does it really take to deliver for citizens when institutions are under pressure, evidence is incomplete, and public trust must be earned?
In this candid, small-group Q&A, Dr. Amel Karboul, former Minister of Tourism of Tunisia and CEO of the Education Outcomes Fund, will take students behind the decisions that determine whether policy succeeds or fails.
M-RCBG Senior Fellow Nick O’Donohoe will moderate.
Lunch will be served.
Drawing on Tunisia’s democratic transition and on education and workforce programmes across Africa, she will explore how leaders act under uncertainty, move from policy ambition to implementation, and use innovative finance and cross-sector partnerships to improve outcomes while preserving public accountability. The conversation will focus equally on what worked, what did not, and what she would do differently
Dr. Amel Karboul is the Co- Founder and CEO of the Education Outcomes Fund, a UN hosted initiative that works with governments to transform how education and employment programs are financed and delivered.
