Career Roundtable with Vikas Pershad (HKS MPP 2005, CID GDC)

Please join the Harvard Center for International Development for an informal roundtable discussion with Vikas Pershad, HKS MPP alum and member of CID’s Global Development Council. Vikas is a senior fund manager for M&G Investments, a global firm with AUM approaching GBP 400 billion. During our lifetimes, Mr. Pershad sees the largest opportunities for governments and private enterprises to create value and manage risks in three areas: adapting to climate change, leveraging applied statistics (a phrase he prefers to "machine learning") and harnessing synthetic biology. This roundtable offers a unique opportunity for Harvard students to engage directly with Vikas on these issues and discuss diverse career pathways at the intersection of policy, innovation, and finance.
