​Join the Center for International Development, cosponsored with the Women and Public Policy Program, Women in Defense, Diplomacy, and Development, and the Harvard Center for African Studies, for a celebration of International Women's Day featuring distinguished guest H.E. Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, the First Lady of Sierra Leone. The First Lady will speak about her work and participate in a roundtable Q&A. A festive lunch and cake will be served, and we will explore International Women's Day traditions around the world! This event will be part of CID's Road to GEM24 series leading up to the Global Empowerment Meeting (GEM): GEM24, Breaking Barriers for Women and Girls.
Space is limited and registration is required. A Harvard ID card will be required to attend the event.
