The Social Innovation and Change Initiative will welcome Scott Schenkelberg, President and CEO of Miriam’s Kitchen, to kick-off the spring 2019 “Agitate. Innovate. Orchestrate.” series. Miriam’s Kitchen is dedicating to ending chronic homelessness in Washington, D.C through direct service, advocacy, and permanent supportive housing – an intervention that combines affordable housing with supportive services. During this roundtable event, Scott will share the experiences that changed the mission of Miriam’s Kitchen from responding to homelessness to now, fighting to eradicate it.
