Join us for lunch and a conversation on deported U.S. military veterans and the fight to bring them home.
We will screen Bring Them Home, an award-winning documentary that follows veterans who served their country, only to face exile under immigration policies that fail to recognize their service and sacrifice. Following the screening, producer and social entrepreneur Rob Young will discuss the making of the film, the ongoing struggle for repatriation, and concrete ways to support deported veterans and their families.
This event is part of the CPL Student-Generated Events series and will be moderated by Andrew Steinberg, MPP ‘27 candidate.
Open to HUID holders and registration is required. Lunch will be available starting at 11:45am.
