Join us for a thought-provoking interactive panel discussion on artificial intelligence, risk, and the cyberspace. We will delve into a range of topics connecting AI to the online world, including algorithmic bias, misinformation and disinformation, harassment and hate speech, and the impact of AI on privacy and data protection.
The discussion will be moderated by Sacha Alanoca (HKS AI & Emerging Tech Caucus) and Alex Tsalidis (Student Leaders in AI Initiative, supported by the Berkman Klein Center). Panelists: John Fiske is the Director of Data Protection at Meta and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government. His work at Meta revolves around a wide range of privacy-related issues, including monitoring and assessing future societal and systemic risks. While at M-RCBG, he is working on a risk framework for online identity assurance. Dr. Rumman Chowdhury is the CEO and Founder of Parity Consulting and a Responsible AI Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center. Previously, she served as the Director of META (ML Ethics, Transparency, and Accountability) team at Twitter and Global Lead for Responsible AI at Accenture Applied Intelligence. Dr. Chowdhury is noted for pioneering sociotechnical solutions for ethical, explainable, and transparent AI.
