Please join the Belfer Center’s Future of Diplomacy Project for the second part of a panel series on future financial, humanitarian, and military support for the reconstruction of Ukraine. A new joint assessment released late last month by the Government of Ukraine, the World Bank Group, the European Commission, and the United Nations, estimates that the cost of reconstruction and recovery in Ukraine has grown to US $411 billion - almost 2.6 times the country’s estimated 2022 GDP. We will be joined by Natalie Jaresko, former Finance Minister of Ukraine; Matteo Patrone, Managing Director, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; Vladyslav Rashkovan, Alternative Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund; and Daniel F. Runde, Director of the Project on Prosperity and Development at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. This conversation will be moderated by Ambassador Paula J. Dobriansky, Senior Fellow with the Future of Diplomacy Project.
