High Tech and Social Mobility - Israel as a Case Study

In this study group, led by M-RCBG Senior Fellow Shira Greenberg, we will explore key issues related to entering the high-tech industry. We will take a deeper look at economic data connected to Israel’s high-tech and innovation sector, examining its relationship to upward economic mobility. We will also analyze how accessible the high-tech sector is for individuals from diverse backgrounds. In addition, we will consider the impact of economic mobility and evaluate how government policies and incentives can encourage broader participation in the high-tech industry and support upward mobility.
