Innovation in Healthcare: Driving Equitable Health Outcomes in reimagined, rapidly changing Health Care Systems

The session will host guest speakers from leading health care organizations, who will join the session in their capacity as senior executives, to share industry experiences of designing and implementing innovations to improve equity in health outcomes. 
Overview
Around the world, health care systems are adjusting to a post-pandemic environment, taking stock, re-calibrating, and innovating. A significant universal focus currently, is improving health outcomes in sustainable cost-effective ways that improve the experience of the patient. In addition to the significant ethical implications, disparities in health care systems result in poor health outcomes and wasteful costs. Health care leaders from various vantage points are contemplating how to address the drive for equitable health outcomes. They are recognizing the need to address complex issues including variation in outcomes based on personal characteristics - race, gender, socio-economic status and geography.For equity solutions to be effective and impactful, organizations and leaders have to navigate multiple stakeholders and varying industry dynamics. In doing so, they have to consider the following questions:• what is the scale of the initiative? • what organizational capabilities are required? • what is their risk appetite? • who to partner with? • how to measure the performance of solutions?• how to align organizational goals?
Please join a high impact discussion, grounded in real world experiences, of how organizations structure equity solutions for impact. Hear directly from health care executives from leading U.S. organizations about how they grapple with the subject of equity, internalize policy guidelines, and design strategies to improve equity outcomes.
